We have had some nasty illnesses running through our house over the last few weeks. Brayden had Pneumonia, Strep and Croup while McKinley and Skye battled strep and Bronchitis….YIKES! While my littles were all sick, there was no time for me to fall ill myself. I boosted my immune system with this power smoothie recipe and I am proud to say, I made it through the week of sickness hell alive and well. With cold and flu season upon us, you are going to want this recipe in your arsenal.
4-6 mint leaves
1 Tablespoon fresh ginger
1 Cup of Kale
1 Cup of spinach
1 teaspoon Spirulina powder

1 1/2 teaspoons of probiotic powder
1/2 cup Aloe Vera Juice
1/2 cup Organic Apple Juice
2 cups of ice
